First Christmas
Just like Halloween, Thanksgiving and many other "firsts", we anticipated your first Christmas with much excitement! This is a "Baby's First Christmas" ornament with your name and birth date stamped on it. It also has a little blue gem stone. I am hoping that you will have this ornament for the rest of your life and pass it along to your future family. Grandma Lorraine: Grandpa Homer made sure your outfits coordinated for this big event: Grandma AND Grandpa: Kimball Ward Christmas Breakfast: A tradition in the Park City Kimball Ward is having a Christmas Breakfast cooked to order by the Bishopric. Although this photo is blurry (dumb camera), it is very special because you are posing with your "Grandma" Cheryl Crandall. Cheryl had been taking care of you every day in the afternoons since you were 6-months-old while Mommy taught her piano and voice students. She isn't really your Grandma... but she has waited so long for grandchildren of her own that she was insistent we call her by this special name. Yes, this was your very first time sitting on Santa's lap! Obviously, you knew that he was an okay sort of guy since you smiled instead of cried like other little ones did. You even met Santa's sweetheart, Mrs. Claus: We visited Daddy at work one day before the actual Christmas Day ... all dressed up like a reindeer: (You can chastise me later... but gimme a break! You looked so dang cute!) Daddy took us out to lunch to show you off: Your antlers were having issues: I certainly hope this is the face you give the girls trying to kiss you on the school playground just before you turn and RUN the other way: A little Christmas "nog" for my Christmas miracle:
