First Christmas

Just like Halloween, Thanksgiving and many other "firsts", we anticipated your first Christmas with much excitement! Cheryl had been taking care of you every day in the afternoons since you were 6-months-old while Mommy taught her piano and voice students. She isn't really your Grandma... but she has waited so long for grandchildren of her own that she was insistent we call her by this special name. Yes, this was your very first time sitting on Santa's lap! Obviously, you knew that he was an okay sort of guy since you smiled instead of cried like other little ones did.
